registers second win in VGF

(AFZAL SHAIKH) June 28, 2007 – In Thursday's
second match which kicked off at 7pm, Qatar
SC battered Al Ahli 3-0 (25-17, 25-19,
25-12) in less than 1 hour (48 mins).
Qatar SC dominated the match right from the
beginning, their spikers shattered Al Ahli's
blocks with striking pace and accuracy.
Earlier on the opening day, Qatar SC stunned
Al Rayyan 3-2 on Tuesday and then they lost
to Al Arabi 3-0 on the following day. Al
Ahli has lost all the matches of the
tournament so far. They face Al Arabi on
Sunday after two rest days (Friday and
Saturday).
Qatar SC will
play against Al Rayyan players who must be
furious for revenge after facing a stunning
defeat on the opening day. |
